I'll be swapping mine out ASAP when those hit the street.

I know I'm in the minority on here, but I still prefer our current Pegasus plate. For all of the talk about it not being an athletics logo, it was on our helmets in the early 80's and is making a return on the new Nike jerseys.
That being said, it's not like I'd change my tag out to another type if they made the change, and I like the stacked logo better than the Knight's head.

There's more gold on that one plate than remains on the entire squad's football uniforms. Funny how Frost must have heard about the lack of gold except on the tiny trim areas, because he said we'd likely see more gold in subsequent incarnations. Actually, I love the new uniforms (and the plate).
To finally and definitively answer your question, I have an inside source who has confirmed that this may happen sometime in the future.
