I've always wondered how 'far' they would go if they would have actually reached the Congressmen and women.
Would they take them as hostages? Would they force various things? Or would some have realized they had gone beyond just protests and trespassing, and actually instigated insurrection?
Because let's make no mistake ... at most ... this was attempted insurrection. Again, I'm curious what would have happened had it reached that point?
I think it would have been like some of the BLM protests where a small subset would be violent. Who who would have stopped them had a few started to ... say ... threatening Pelosi?
And ... who wouldn't have?
I'm thinking of the California small business owner who 'blocked in' a county/city official to 'just give them a piece of their mind.' How many just wanted a voice? And how many were there to 'force' things?
Remember, we did this to the British, and then the British just labeled all of us.
That's why the British ignored the pleas from at least 9 states that stated they were not with Massachusetts. And then there were companies like the West Indies and Hudson Bay that actually wanted a revolt so the 13 crown chartered crown companies could be 'taken over' by them with new charters.
That's why I have a real problem with Big Tech ... because they want government contracts for this stuff too, passports, spying, etc... Jan 6th was wrong ... but how many are using it as an excuse for more of this? Big Tech sure is!
So the Jan. 6th insurrection was wrong....but your real problem is with Big Tech's response?
I'm not particularly fond of all the security crap I have to go through to board a plane anymore. But I'm smart enough to understand why the TSA does what it does.
