I think after the Jags fire Gus when the season ends he could get traded or cut.

After seeing some progress Season 2 he has taken a huge step back and is a Red Zone Int/Pick 6 machine

I did not think he played bad today. His offensive line was like Swiss cheese and he was still making good throws. It's funny because I was thinking how lucky he was to start so soon, but unlucky with the coach and team. I good coach will get him on track and get him more targets that make the QB look good.

As excited as I was when Bortles was drafted to the Jags, who happen to be my favorite NFL team, in the back of my head I kind of knew it was not the best place for him to land. The Jaguars are an absolute joke of a franchise. The offensive line does him no favors. Blake Bortles is broken right now, and unless the team around him gets drastically better he may be better suited somewhere else. I think he still could be a star on a competent team.

Huh??! He's got some of the best targets in the NFL and Lee was making some amazing catches today
Bortles is an INT, Pick 6, bad decision making machine regardless of having time or no time to throw. Most if not all NFL experts say that he's playing terribly. After watching or attending every game, I agree. No more excuses.

Yes, he will be traded or released.

Even though some of his passes are spectacular, he needs more than just SOME of them :)

If I were him and released, I would take a pay cut and go to a team Like the Steelers who need a backup and Ben always gets hurt. Perhaps even Denver or Patriots. Somewhere that has weapons to work with and good coaches.

He should do whatever he can to end up in Denver. Kubiak likes to roll out QBs in his offense which would fit Blake's skillset. I don't think Siemian or Lynch are locks to hold onto the starting job long term

FYI, there are no "NFL Experts". The commentators are couch coaches and don't have a clue what is going on on the field.

Watch a replay of the picks. The majority of picks I can think of were receiver faults. Last game, he threw a ball away at a receivers feet to prevent intentional grounding because of pressure from a blown screen setup and the receiver kicks it in the air and gets picked off. Another pick, the receiver stopped on the crossing route over the middle. It would have been a perfect pass, but instead went to a defender. A game or so before, Bortles, according to the "experts", threw into triple coverage. But it wasn't really. The receiver had double coverage beat and Bortles made a perfect throw. But another receiver gave up on his route allowing his defender to break off early and run back and pick off the pass. Other passes hit receivers in the hands and they pop up in the air for the pick.

I am not saying Bortles hasn't made some bad throws. But he is obviously frustrated with his O-line, his RBs who can't do squat or fumble, and especially his receivers.

Yes Troy Aikman and Bill Cowher have no idea what's going on in field of play.

Geez. All these excuses. I bet you think that Holman is going to be a first rounder. The guy is inaccurate and makes bad decisions. He hasn't scored on an opening drive in 2 years and takes countless sacks or short runs when he should have got rid of the ball. He's an interception and pick six machine. Always forcing in throws and not placing it where it should be. Trying too hard to make a play that's not there

That overthrow in the endzone this week early on. After he almost fumbled it the play before.

Most interceptions in football for 3 years and TDs in garbage time. Most pick sixes. Just an accident? A coincidence??

I can go on and on and on. You obviously have UCF blinders on and haven't watched every game for 3 years.

Yes. They only have won 5 or more Superbowls between them. No clue about how a QB should play or how a passing game should be executed by the QB.
