I am life long friends with the Superintendent of Brevard County Schools. I am taking him to the game tomorrow..I will ask him about it.
I have a severely disabled son who is now 23. I have been in the Volusia County School District and the Jackson County ,NC school district. I don't know of the story is true or not but I am very familiar with the special needs issues and community. If that happened to my son who is blind and has multiple other issues including mental retardation, I would be pissed and I would make sure that never happened again. My son doesn't tolerate masks or hats and has significant sensory issues. He would rip it off and it would turn ugly.

I’ve said since the first week of Covid hysteria that outdoor activities are low risk and I have had no problem bringing my kids to parks, playgrounds, beaches, etc. When we go to the science center or something like that where it is required that they wear a mask, they have no problems doing so. If it’s not required, they don’t. It’s not hard. But I’m not eating horse paste as a prophylactic and bragging about it on a UCF forum.
