Bruce Miller is off the hook

Sounds like he'll get a second chance at resuming his promising NFL career and making millions more importantly.
This was too much of a close call and he won't get another chance in today's NFL, especially at a position that is easily replaceable.
Word of advice (and I admittingly know nothing about the details of his relationship): seek a less high maintenance, lower profile, and low drama woman. One that won't push your buttons. I'm not advocating domestic violence in any way. They are out there and some of them are very good-looking as well.

Good for Brucey. Per reports, they broke up. Date the 10's, marry the 8's. Now he's a little more experienced in that regards.

So, for arguing and throwing a phone out the window you get "16-week domestic violence counseling course as part of his sentence." What a load of crap. No physical contact happened, just arguing and phone destruction. Anyone other than an NFLer and the charges would have been dropped, probably. So now it's illegal to yell at a woman? repeat- no physical abuse happened.

NFL is over correcting for past errors. I love in the report where initially the girl is like, "he hit me" and then later she recants. Just have to take a jab at a guy just because you are pissed off, facts be damned.

Hope this is a part of his training:

Sounds like she was flirting with someone on her phone and he had enough...

Two things to learn from life for men just when you think everything is going well:
1) your wife or significant other can overload your emotions in an instant;
2) your children can overload your emotions in an instant.

Men can typically get a handle on everything else but these two things will
send men into a tailspin in a heart beat.

One thing to learn from NFL: it's very political and pubic opinion driven.
Whatever the hot button is, if you are anywhere close to it you can get sucked
into the consequences of public opinion and politics of NFL having a good image.

Bruce will get some sort of suspension because it was an incident with a women
and he destroyed her property despite the truth of her uncaring words or actions.

Meanwhile another football player calls his coach a racist and nothing is said by the league
but if the coach was proven to make racist comments, he's gone. Double standard
in my opinion but perfectly acceptable in current public/political atmosphere.

I've seen this video posted on here and elsewhere. Would do a lot of pro athletes a world of good to see it and live by it.

he isnt off and he didnt really break up with her...he has a no contact order against him...plus 1 of his charges was vandalism...which sounded to me like he broke something at the restaraunt...probably a glass or something thrown against the wall.

Have you not been following this story at all????? He broke her cell phone. It's been posted like 20 times and is all over the Internet. SMH.

It's not my post, but the OP probably is referring to the fact that he's not doing jail time and can still play football this year without any or a significant suspension. The charge was only vandalism and not sometime more severe. However, saying just a few days ago that "he broke a glass or threw something against a wall at a restaurant" was way out there as it was factually known for weeks and posted everywhere that he broke her cell-phone. Anyway.. The case is pretty much closed. Who really knows what his personal relationship with the woman is at this point.

I doubt the league sweeps this under the rug...any violence towards women is being scrutinized...at least a 1 game suspension.
