Bucs general manager Jason Licht started his college football career as a walk-on at Nebraska, and while he missed overlapping with quarterback Scott Frost by a few years, he likes UCF's hiring of the former Cornhuskers coordinator and Oregon assistant as their new head coach.
"He is a very impressive player, person and coach," Licht said of the 40-year-old Frost, who will be formally introduced Wednesday morning. "He is extremely innovative, extremely competitive, and a great communicator. UCF made an excellent hire with Scott."
