Wait. I got it. He gets the Ashe award because Arthur played tennis with a racquet and Jenner is running a racket. Ashe won the Davis Cup, Jenner no longer needs to wear a cup. Ashe was born in Richmond, VA, Jenner cut his own penis off.

Didn't Jenner kill a woman while texting a few months ago? Wouldn't that factor into these "Courage Awards"? Look I don't care what people do with lives and how they want to live. If it makes them happy, so be it. I'm an open-minded, accepting person and there are true struggles with the transgender society that needs to be addressed and stopped. But ABC/ESPN wanted a ratings grab and used Jenner as the perfect ploy to do so. It's business. Is what it is. But I think there were a LOT more courageous and deserving folks out there to receive this award.

Yes he did, but just like with the punk in Ferguson Mo. Facts don't matter when creating folk legends.
Please tell me how it's courageous to do this when the majority of people LOUDLY support you? It's like Sam was courageous when he came out. A large majority supported them. It's not like it's 20-40 years ago. Yes, there are still a group who will say whatever, but this is as courageous as being black in MLB today. Jenner\Sam haven't faced 1/100th of what Jackie Robinson faced, or even what Arthur Ashe may have faced. Personally courageous, perhaps, but if everyone who displayed courage in their personal life got a public award....

I'm still wondering when Ann Coulter is going to make his/her announcement that s/he's opted for gender reassignment. I still don't know what the hell s/he is.
