How is he only a 3 star prospect? After watching his highlight video he probably should of had 20 TD's if his QB could get it to him. There were several deep balls where he had his man beaten badly and he had to slow down and wait for the ball. The kid can also catch the ball in a crowd. I hope he stays healthy.

GOL himself has said more than once in the past that the star system is pretty much meaningless. We certainly have seen evidence of that here at UCF with past players such as Kevin Smith and many others.

Looking at the RCS footage, comparing him next to Terry Godwin and Christian Owens, Stewart looks like a 3 star. High school footage is hard to judge because of the huge differential in competition.

He didn't play on a good team (don't think his team during Jr/Sr year made it to the playoffs...as I think this year's team went just 2-6 in region play.

He didn't have a great QB to get him the ball...hence why his stats aren't that high.

He verbaled to UCF last year in April (1st recruit in this class)...coming off just a 30 reception Junior season.

His stats did go up this year...hence why a lot of teams offered him scholarships this year...but he stuck to his commitment to UCF.

I don't care if a player is ranked a 2 star, 3 star or 4 star, etc...as he will still be the "same" player that UCF Coaches liked on game film (GOL requires entire GAME FILM before offering a scholarship...as he never realize off "highlight tapes" as all highlight clips are only the good plays)...but I do think UCF getting on some players early (before they get a ton of pub), helps UCF...as some P5 coaches admit to just being lazy and using recruiting services to target mostly 4-5 star players (Miami's former staff did that all the time...and they haven't won a national title since).

I wouldn't Judge by Camp Footage. Some kids don't do good in a Camp setting.I would take Game film over that. Stewart is way better than Christian Owens. Terry Godwin is a different type of receiver. More of a slot. By the way The Region Stewart played in is the toughest in the state. If you go and look at his highlights from his Soph, Jr, and Sr. year you will see that he has never had a QB. His school hasn't had a player since David Pollock. This year was supposed to be a good year but they had a bunch of injuries to major contributors. One being a QB that transfered in and on the O line. His stats would have been much better if he would have transferred to a better team.

The AJC Recruiting Guy and the UGA Rivals Guy don't understand why UGA didn't go after him. They think he is a Major Talent.
