In more games though. Yeah, this is one of the most impressive records there is.....especially for a smaller guy.Ridiculous.
And K Smith came close to this record!
Barry had 344 carries (averaging 7.6 yards) and Smith had 450 carries (averaging 5.7 yards). In more games though. Yeah, this is one of the most impressive records there is.....especially for a smaller guy.
Yea I figure 20 is about the max for Bowser. Maybe less. We need him to keep the chains moving during games but also stay healthy all season. I really want him to be 100% for Cincy because the main road to the CCG goes through them.We know that we will probably be a 50/50 run/pass type of team this year. What do you think the ideal breakdown will be for our backs.
Isaiah Bowser 20 carries
Johnny Richardson 12 carries
All others 8 or so?
Also Bowser and Richardson had over 700 yards a piece last year. Could we have two 1,000 yard rushers this year??
I was going to say I don't think Sanders or Smiths season are necessarily more impressive than the others. I understand Sanders total yards and yards per carry are the main things people look at but I would argue Smith carried UCF more than Sanders carried OKST. Which is really saying a lot.Barry had 344 carries (averaging 7.6 yards) and Smith had 450 carries (averaging 5.7 yards).
If you look at 2007 stats Keene had similar numbers to Israel. Less picks and higher completion percentage, likely due to more short passes as Israel average more yards per pass. They could mimic the 2007 team and just keep feeding RBs the ball every game.
Sanders had multiple special team return TDs, and his worst performance still averaged over 5 yards per carry with 2 tds. QB play for Ok St. was mediocre to average at best with Mike Gundy. Crazy fact that Barry ran for 322 yards and 4 tds in Tokyo, Japan after he was awarded the Heisman at 8am in Tokyo.I was going to say I don't think Sanders or Smiths season are necessarily more impressive than the others. I understand Sanders total yards and yards per carry are the main things people look at but I would argue Smith carried UCF more than Sanders carried OKST. Which is really saying a lot.
By season start, the expectation will be that the offense will average 700 yards of offense.Amazing how are expectations in style of offense can turn on a dime.
