Can we talk backup QB situation?

The Charlotte transfer has some game experience. I believe Timmy McClain will be a capable back up and has a lot of potential if he can make a jump from his freshman season.

Great question! I hope JRP makes it through the season and is able to throw accurate passes. WE WILL SEE, and keep from fumbling. See Duke
In watching the tape, I think Xavier Williams, the transfer from Charlotte, will end up on the field and shine in the end.

We're one injury away from this season going south pretty quickly without JRP.

It's July and we haven't really talked about who can step up.

Anyone got an insight track into who's #2 and how things will go with him?
That could also go both ways if JRP plays like he did against Tulane for the AAC championship game (JMHO). The backup may be a better passer, or decision maker. That's what makes it exciting. Maybe Timmy McLain from USF.

I saw Spencer Sanders might be 3rd string at Ole Miss. weird…

Maybe he is desperate enough to grad transfer to UCF in the fall.

Ill Be Back Jim Carrey GIF

Sanders bought high and sold low, just blew his career if this is true.

JRP is the starter this fall regardless if Spencer transferred to us.

That was my thought though JRP played that CCG game injured.

It should be noted that Colquitt County's defense was pretty amazing. It gave up only 105 points in nine actual games. Only two opponents scored more than two touchdowns.
