Catalan declares independence from Spain

they had their vote awhile back and the police even tried to shut it down. now they are full blown declaring independence. should be an interesting time over in spain.

I just don't see how they let it happen. Catalonia is a $200 billion nominal GDP area, which is around 15% of Spain's GDP. The money will talk and I think they'll be forced back in.
