Champs! Photos from UCF Softball's 1-0 Walk-Off Victory vs. Tulsa

Quite the dramatic scene at the UCF Softball Complex this afternoon as the Knights - winners of the regular season championship - clinched the American Athletic Conference Tournament Championship with a 1-0 walk-off victory against Tulsa, thanks to the bat of junior Samantha McCloskey who smashed a home run over the left field wall in the bottom of the seventh inning. Junior pitcher Shelby Turnier was her usual sensational self, limiting the Golden Hurricane offense to just one hit.

The win could very well propel UCF to regional-hosting status. The NCAA Selection Show is Sunday night at 10 p.m. on ESPNU.

Man this is a great vid.. UCF should really add Eric Lopez's call of the homerun to their video... What are the chances of adding a Softball link to the menu above rather than putting them in "others" ;-)
