Four Marines were killed when a gunman attacked two military sites in Chattanooga, Tennessee, on Thursday, the U.S. Navy said.

The suspected shooter, 24-year-old Mohammod Youssuf Abdulazeez, is also dead, the FBI said.

Investigators "have not determined whether it was an act of terrorism or whether it was a criminal act," Ed Reinhold, FBI special agent in charge, told reporters.

So sick of the reporting on this & similar:

Immediately 'Who it was? Why they did it? What should the government do about it & quickly. Here is an "expert" tell you why...' We'll do the thinking for you

Who was it? Look at his fukcing name and figure it out.
Why did they do it? Look at his fukcing name and figure it out. (this isn't directed at you, coke, but the reporting)

As to the other questions, WTF can the government do? Deport anyone who has 29 consonants in their name?

That doesn't make SirGs comment incorrect. Obama flew his team to Ferguson immediately to protect the image of a thief and attemptive cop murderer, he's visiting jails to apologize to criminals for America's draconian laws. Meanwhile he hasn't said a peep about sanctuary cities that directly led to a woman being murdered. Legacy is more important. The sad thing is that in 10-15 years Obummers legacy is going to be worst, most divisive, most deceitful president ever.

Just curious if anyone out there is looking for pictures this murderer may have posed with flags.

Watch how the left will go out of their way to defend all those people that have shared beliefs with the murderer and call this one gunman, one incident. Yet the asshole who murdered nine people in Charleston represented the entire history of the south.

You know the thread is over when Bob & SirG are 100% spot on correct.

I really feel for the friends and family of those 4 lost. I guess we are lucky it was only 4 people that lost their lives. From the sound of it, it could have been a lot more.

Sanctuary cities has been around long enough to be addressed by prior presidents. As for claims of Obama being most divisive legacy - compared to who and i wonder what is that code word for.

It's obviously my way of calling him the n word.

You only defend everything he does, even if it is wrong, because he's black. You have no room to call me a racist.

How exactly is Obummer responsible for sanctuary laws? These laws apparently were created on a level lower than federal....the very same states i thought you;d be in favor of.

When did I say he was responsible for them? I criticized him for completely ignoring what happened and the situation that caused it. If the woman was killed by anyone but an illegal this would be another feather in his ban guns hat, but it was an illegal felon and there is no political gain for him so he won't say anything about it.

There is an issue here.
it is called radical Islam. Islam is not the problem, but this minority in their religion is a problem that both Muslims, and those outside their faith must take head on, and defeat..

Also when it comes to having all Military personal have arms, I am for a few, but not all, we all know people have what is a called a meltdown. I am for 1 or 2 armed per 5 or 10 people..
Also they have mental evaluations, but not everyone should have a gun at all times..

I'm guessing that the kid went to Jordan, came into contact with radicalized people and/or outright ISIS affiliates, and/or traveled into Syria at some point to become further radicalized. It sounds like he was a fairly normal American kid.......and then he went to Jordan for 7 months.

I've spent time in Jordan. The #1 concern there is controlling the flow of militants and jihadists across the border. Which is a shame because Jordan itself is a great place.

This is just stupid. If people have meltdowns and you're only going to arm one, then how are you going to assure that one person is meltdown-proof. Wouldn't it be far better insurance to have them all armed?

It goes beyond that. Serving in the military and receiving elite-level (meaning U.S. armed forces) weapons training should mean you can carry a weapon period. If soldiers can't be trusted, no one can be trusted, and the second amendment gets gutted. Making sure the military has better QC over mental health is a different issue and is more relevant here.

The first half of Mach's post is actually good though. Let's celebrate that.

So does that mean we should renege our deal with Iran and get with Israel to attack them instead? *

There is a very fine line between Islam and Radical Islam. In most religions, the vast majority try to call out the minority that are racist, bigots, and do and act evil. In Islam, I am not sure there is a vast majority to call out the minority, and to be honest they don't call them out.

I won't say most, but a big percentage of Muslims, leave the middle east because of persecution, and then want us to do away with the very freedoms and rights that freed them from the life they had. Having an Islamic state under Sharia law, being a big part of that.
