Holman has an absolute cannon for an arm. He has been working hard in the offseason to improve his vision and anticipation in the intermediate game and has the potential to be a complete quarterback if he remains focused during his reps. He has a higher ceiling than Kevin Hogan. Mark it down.

Stanback had some injuries last year.

The OL needs to gel. These guys know how to hang tough but they need to bring their lunch pails every day. Size will not be an issue.

The DL will be the best in the state. No question.

Some chatter that we could see some surprise brands of beer in the tiki bar. My sources would not confirm though.

I'd expect an improved OL with a healthy Joey Grant. DL definitely the strength of the defense. I'm concerned about the secondary and linebackers. GOL has been praising Holman as the most improved player and is learning to add touch. There's a ton of depth at RB so hopefully they will all push each other to be better. WR obviously is young and a slight concern, but Tre'Quan Smith and Akins isn't a bad 1-2. The question will be who the other starter. Chris Davis? Patti? Payton? I think those 3 are the most likely.

#1 concern is secondary and #2 is LB. I expect Holman to have a solid year limiting turnovers and for us to run 30-35x a game.

If the pass rush is as good as advertised, the secondary will never be a concern. QBs won't have time to pick them apart forcing them to look short immediately. That plays into the D's hands.
