They were random girls. He picked the pictures up somewhere on interweb and downloaded them to his laptop then transfered some images to discord Discord immediately recognized images as minor sex abuse and was reported to Authorities. The Authorities then got in touch with the person of Interest and found a few more pictures of Minor sex abuse.
One thing to keep in mind. The dude is 19. We don't know what his age was when or how he acquired the other three photos.
If this is the case, it gets really tough to know if a girl is 16 or 18. I managed a couple of video store in the 80s and there was the Tracy Lords case. You show 1,000 guys her picture and not a single one would guess she wasn’t 20-21…..she was 15.
I mean the kid is what 19 years old. I mean if it's just some teen pictures close to his age they might be blowing this out of proportion. Not sure.

I get he is 19 and one girl was 17 and that is understandable (I remember dating girls that were 18/19 when I was 17), but man you don't upload that stuff online, esp to something like Discord. Tough break but that is just so stupid and immature. Like, I bet they teach against doing dumb shit like that at UF and other college campuses, but this stuff needs to be stressed out every quarter or two to make it stick to these young brute kids. Idk, maybe it's just that young generation that is always on the phone and uses snapchat all the time and it's getting harder and harder to self-regulate.
To answer your question people have lost their imaginations. They have to see video now. Pictures don't suffice.
High school kids have caught charges. Its illegal to send pictures of anyone under 18 no matter how old the sender. Kids should be well aware of consequences by now.

Another girl was pre-pubescent and engaged in secual activity with a man. I dont think its the 2 year age gap theyre worried about
