They’re just trying to see if the money they paid The Big Guy is good or not. We all know Biden has no stomach to do anything about Taiwan so China’s just weighing the rest of the world’s response.

Actually, yes, I am an American Libertarian. I think we should pull out of virtually all treaties, and force countries to re-negotiate for access to our raw materials. Of course the Chinese might pull a '41 Japan on us as a result, like they did when we cut them off from oil.

But ... we actually screwed the ROC (Taiwan) when we moved to support the PRC (Mainland) decades ago. So that kinda already sailed. It's the one thing Nixon was praised for, but was actually his screw up. And then the Clinton + Republic Congress era of outsourcing was like Nixon Part 2.

Where do you come up with these takes? Nobody here has said anything close to that.

Me, I'll admit it. Actually, I'm the one person that is against all [existing] treaties. And I was with Ron Paul a few weeks after 9/11. And I was one of the few people I knew against Iraq -- said it would be 5 years and 5,000 dead. I actually underestimated.
