This is assuming GOL realizes he is a better football coach than athletic director...
Let's bring back one of our own!! He is young, has great experience and resume and he will be coming home!!
I know he has been mentioned in the Dungeon before. Chris is a UCF alumni that bleeds black and gold and is currently kicking ass as the AD at Bowling Green University. He left UCF for a career as an army officer and then transitioned to a career in athletics. He sharpened his skills at West Point and was the Executive Senior Associate AD at NC State.
Chris was a buddy of mine while at UCF in the early 90s. He understands the importance of the HItt/GOL legacy and has followed UCF throughout the ups and downs of the program.
Over the years I have kept in touch with him and he could fire me up about UCF in less than 30 seconds. Young guy in his 40's that understands UCF history but also understands what it will takes to take UCF to the next level. He has paid his dues and worked his way up through the system.
He deserves an interview!! Not sure if GOL wants to coach football or be an executive, but if he decides to stay on as coach, GOL would love Kingston.
Take a look at the bio. My goal really is just to raise awareness for Chris to get him an interview. He would have to land the job from there. We all want the best candidate to get the job and I trust Hitt and company to make the right decision.
Sidenote: BG Football has one of the most explosive offenses in the country and has some big wins!
