I am pissed off at the coaching for so many reasons but namely recruiting. But the other coach haters on this board are so stupid and mindless that I almost want to support the coaches. The lack of football knowledge here is glaring. Throwing out fake statistics and unsupported arguments and opinions disgusts me. I am sick of you. Shut your faces if you don't know what you are talking about. That goes for 98% of you. If you think GOL is a bad coach you are mentally challenged (fixed bc I was inconsiderate after too many pale ales, no excuse it was wrong). If you think GOL is a bad recruiter you are accurate.

Recruiting is part of being considered a good College Football Head Coach. This isn't the NFL

I can't believe how slow this team looks

O'leary has actually ****ed us over pretty good. If he had retired after the fiesta bowl or even after last season, we were in a much better position to get a coach that wanted to be here to continue the success. If he "retires" after this year we will have to worry about getting a coach that may look at us as a stepping stone again and leave after a good season or two

Its UCFs fault for paying this guy millions. He's done well to build up this program. He could arguably be the most organized employee of our program and that includes Dr Hitt and the preceding ADs. If we're too unorganized to find a new head coach then we deserve this mess. Like i said before, i wouldnt be surprised if his dead carcass gets pushed around on the field. He's to our program like the Kim's are to North Korea.* Can i say that?

"Retarded"? Really?

that would have been perfect timing but at least that is very recent memory so the UCF job is still very attractive. Now if he refuses to leave and Hitt lets him stay a season or 2 more then he could bury the Program in a deeper hole.

It's not coach hating, it's about being able to perform at the job he was hired to do. Yes we have had an injury riddled and young team this year. BUT this coaching staff makes ZERO adjustments during the game, especially after half time. It is pathetic.

would like to see the scoring differential for 3rd quarters under GOL

It's hard to recruit when you're the only team in the country that has to follow the rules.

Really, UCF is a repeat offender and got sanctioned. So the conspiracy theory is the big bad NCAA is out get get little UCF. I give GOL credit for the fiesta bowl win and the three straight conference championships but in most football programs a coach that has sanctions levied against him twice doesn't keep his job. (Even after winning national championships) Especially if said sanctions bring on a winless season.

Hindsight is 20/20. I could see him retiring after last year, but after the Fiesta Bowl? No way.

Agreed. I thought GOL should have stayed after the Fiesta Bowl because this was his chance to finally solidify UCFs status in the college football world. He had a good run but it couldve been better.
