Hoping that you stumble upon this board here is my advice to you;

1. Don't do everything the boss tells you, it is often outdated.
2. You Can only have a good running game if you have the right players to make it work (running backs and offensive line - you don't have all the pieces at the moment)
3. A good team utilizes it's most efficient and skilled players to move the ball forward most of the time, if it wants to win (Pass the damn ball more).
4. The Definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. How has running the ball down the middle worked for you?..(see point 1)
5. Watch the last three minutes of today's game and see how points 1-4 above need to be executed If the season is to be saved.
6. If you don't listen to my advice even your old pal might turn on you at the end of the season, or at least the Fanbase will definitely do so.

Still think we can have a great season but the offensive play calling has got to change.

And remember, you played one of the least talented teams you will face all season.

Honest question: Since Key has been in charge of the O-line, when has it been any good? Not passable (2013) but actually good.

Play calling was an absolute joke. I feel like i was drunk playing NCAA 2010. This is what the good ol boys club gets you.

I feel this program is becoming the next Fresno state and not Boise state. Were relevant for a few years, had some big wins and played top teams tough, high profile QB who was picked high and an older coach who they stuck with too long. Boise keeps evolving and reinventing themselves, having coaches poached may have played a role, but they never became stale and remained relevant. We are going in the opposite direction of that.

Honestly, rhetoric aside, a major problem is the whole 70 year old head coach thing. Any decent assistant we hire knows GOLs days are numbered, so they jump at the first opportunity they get. GOL has hired some great assistants over the years...now we are down to USF's rejects. We simply won't be good again until GOL is gone completely. If we keep his as AD we are in for more years of trouble.
