I'd always assumed Deion got into college coaching to help control his kids teams for their/his benefit, and he'd jump ship to the media/NFL when that was done.

I honestly can’t tell if he is a good coach or not. I think he is smart enough to surround himself with very capable assistants and lets them do their job. I wonder if he takes on a more CEO approach and is the hype/sales man that gets recruits. Prime had T.O. And Michel Irvin on the sidelines. He understands the business.

Warren Sapp too. Who used to try to get a job at UCF. They told him no.

That would be my guess. I dont see him coaching longterm.
