Then don't complain about a 2-10 season......this team right now has less talent left than the 2015 team considering how much harder our schedule is.
Missing the best part of the portal is a huge miss in 2025
Yes the fans have been used to Gus ‘booms’ in the Winter when games are not played only to look like the most disorganized Program possible on gameday to the point that tv announcers started calling Gus out.
The recruiting this cycle will be a patchwork job being hired after the first signing day. They will be looking to plug holes as late as April. Frost is going to have to ‘prove it’ to have more higher end talent roll in.

I won’t complain.
We made the right call for the long term good of the program in walking away from Gus and not paying the buyout. From there, it’s all about building a solid program.
I would not mortgage our long-term future and sell out on transfers year 1, just to end up with 4 wins. That’s what this past season turned out to be.

Seems to be the direction he is going. By bringing in milton and cooper he likely doesnt have to spend much on them. Can then spend a pretty penny on the defensive side of the football.
Have to remember, when frost came in the first time he had like two weeks to cobble together a class.

That's good because we have almost nothing left:
QB: Nothing great, surprised we don't have more guys in the portal - Assume Frost will bring in his own guys like before
WR: When Magwood is your best returner, ugh
TE: Nothing left to speak of
RB: Think we are OK as long as we don't get a exodus from Montgomery, Gage, and Swint
OL: All starters gone, and no one left that logged much time
DL: We have Kelly, Lawrence, Dotson and not much else (assuming Hunter is going pro)
LB: Alexander (who is really good) and no one else in our top 20 tacklers
DB: Arnold, Marshall, and that is about it
Specialists: All 3 starters in the portal

Dotson is out of eligibility. Lawrence and Kelly combined for 10.5 sacks in 2024.
Tre'mon Morris Brash had 8.5 himself in 2023.

We don't know what we have or are going to have. Plenty of guys on that 1-11 team that were also on the 13-0 team. The sky isn't falling, nor is it clear blue. We have no idea what it is and that's scarier to people than anything else.
I am ok with both. young coaches need old coaches to learn from just like young players need older players.
Yes we have 3 freshmen WRs coming in and new RBs getting a chance this season that we're behind 5 year college RBs who am sure could compete for special team returner position and we will be getting in transfers after spring game as well. The sky ain't falling.
In January 2023, Fisher was hired by the Syracuse Orange football team as defensive backs coach.

They blame him for not playing their best RB more but I am not sure if Lane is the one setting the depth chart or him

I question the authority of the running back coaches. I’m sure Lane has quite a bit input.
