Auburn at 10th, despite FPI projects to them being a 7 win team this year

Houston 49th and SMU 56th will be mediocre at best despite returning their stud QBs and Houston going 12-2 last year.

Its just not an accurate tool. 5 teams finished in the top 26 in 2021 that had 6 or more losses. Multiple teams with losing records. While 3 P5 10 win team finished finished 28th or worse.

Not even consistent when just comparing p5 vs p5 teams.
