Read her TL to see a better breakdown of the charges.

The cliffs: she set up a bogus charity and used her office to get people to donate to it. Then she used the funds (over $800k) to sponsor lavish events and give herself a cut of the money, too, while the charity only awarded two scholarships.

Innocent. The scholarships were probably going to be used for UF anyway.

Waiting for the ball to drop on the Clinton Foundation. All the signs of a scam.

I just have no idea how she thought she'd get away with it. I mean, they didn't even try to pretend they were really running a charity. She freaking transfered money directly to her personal bank account.

The Feds don't mess with tax fraud. She's in big trouble. Former County Comissioner Mildred Fernandez took way less in bribes and got 18 months in prison.

Why wouldn't you go through the motions to be a tax exempt charity? I'm pretty sure everything they did would be legal if they just filed the right paperwork. Maybe the money to her would have had to be to her campaign or had taxes withheld, but not a big difference.
I know a guy who is an MD. He runs a research charity. As far as I can tell he just travels, attends conferences, and eats expensive meals. You can live awfully well "working" for a nonprofit.

This is why you don't support UF alums in any facet of life. They all have Hillary level entitlement and corruption.

Fry the black Woman, and let white as white Hillary go free. Guess black lives don't matter... in Washington
