UCF has never experienced the futility the Houston Cougars has faced since that dreaded day.

At least the NCAA crippled SMUs program. Houston was given the death penalty by another football program on the field.

I cant recall any college football team ever experiencing a program killing loss like that.

I see winning records 7 of the last 9 years.....UCF hasn't done that.

Programs caught in the middle get these kinds of flows.....look how bad Duke was for decades, Tulane used to be in the SEC, USF was #2 in the country, BYU was a national champion, Rice played in multiple BCS type bowls in the 40s and 50s....and hosted a Super Bowl, now you can't get 5,000 people to go to a game.
