In all seriousness though, why is this something that anybody actually researched? There is a person out there that collected farts and tested them for the china-virus. That has to be a shitty job.

There was a "study" that the China virus spreads in bathrooms. No real good ventilation, small area, and China virus fecal matter flying around.

I'm just trying to wrap my mind around the idea that someone came up with the theory that farts can spread a virus, convinced someone to fund research into that theory, found people to conduct the collection of specimens, actually spent time analyzing the specimens, and then published the data as if it was useful information.
