If those numbers are accurate we should open up now. Beta males can stay at home for another 5 years. The economy is used to some dead weight.

I literally posted this exact study he's citing early this morning. I'm not bothered at all. Im more concerned that a group of you are so bad at math that you don't realize how bad a 99.22 survival rate is.
I'm just bothered that you're OK with taking on another 6-10 trillion worth of debt and tanking the global economy for something that has a 99%+ survival rate.
Well half of the deaths will come from a single outlier city, so the survival rate is probably more like 99.8% sad
The economy is already dead. Georgia opened tattoo shops today. Who's going for a tattoo? These businesses will close. Restaurants operate with slim margins. A 20% reduction in revenue will kill them. No one is flying or taking vacations or going to concerts or tailgating. It's dead.
The sooner you and all chuds realize that the economy is dead because of consumer fear and that more dead bodies won't solve that fear, the faster we can address this problem medically and then we can begin to rebuild.
The math isn't going to be exact. Unhealthy and age will be a large factor. Regions will differ. I feel positive though because the death rate is much closer to the flu even if it's way more contiguous.

It's a personal choice between the consumer and the businesses. Of course they wont be as busy, but at least they will employ some instead of none and have a fighting chance of economic survival.

1 million deaths would cause more fear and crashed economy than 50k dead. It's the consumer demand that is tanking us not the closed businesses. The idea that once the government says open up that you're going to immediately see a thriving global economy is a joke.
There is no economy either way. It's either crashed because people don't want to go out when 1000000 have died or it's crashed because the government says you can't go out because if they don't 1000000 will die.

Update. Just talked to a friend of mine in Minnesota. All 7 of his gas stations in Minnesota had record months in March and are on track for the same in April.
Weird how going from 5 cents profit per gallon to 65 cents = good time to own a gas station.
Well yeah, if every single person gets it. Bottom line is we likely will have 1 more bad winter season, and then it will just be another flu type bug that goes around every year. Sadly it will add 15 to 30k to the yearly death rate. But it is something we always had to deal with.
