ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) - Thirteen members of the UCF baseball team are set to venture across the nation to play in seven collegiate summer leagues. The Knights are competing in Florida, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Ohio, Virginia and Wisconsin.
Sophomore right-handed pitcher Cre Finfrock is headed to the Cape Code League to play for the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox. The campaign for the two-time defending league champions starts on June 10. A pair of freshmen, catcher Anthony George and left-handed pitcher Bryce Tucker, are also heading to The Bay State and begin their season with the Brockton Rox of the Futures Collegiate League on June 2.
