I am shocked we haven't heard any changes to offensive coaches.

Something to discuss on your podcast...We know Oleary is having a crummy year, and his coach in waiting, Key, is having a terrible year. We also know this could lead to Oleary retiring at the end of the year as well. Now since everyone is against Key as HC given his lack luster offense this could really hurt his chances of getting the position. IF Oleary was serious about retirement, and Key becoming HC, wouldn't it be smart for him to retire early, like Spurrier, and give Key the interim HC position? This would be more like a "try out" for him. It would be a change and a chance. I think its the only way he could prove himself. Other than being Interim it would be tough for him to get the job against other qualified candidates (although just because your not a good OC doesn't mean you can't be a good HC). But this all doesn't matter if GOL wants another year.

I didn't say I wanted too but GOL does. Just a thought not what I personally want.

First off i'm for GOL leaving but why not give Key a chance at interim coach. I've read other people say how players got along with him. Why did he move to offensive coordinator anyways? I understand this isnt the first time GOL has hired an offensive line coach as coordinator, but if you wanted to transition him to be the next coach, keep him as Associate Head Coach or retitle him Executive Coordinator. His responsibilties would be overseeing both offense and defenses with GOL having veto power. He would essentially be the head coach.

I wish i had articles to document this, but i remember during a couple of games - in particular the Penn State game - how GOL liked how Key was attentive to even the little things (details).

Key has already proved his can't run the offense, now you wanna give him the keys to the car? #crazy
Yes. Just trust the system. Key won't be running the offense next year. He'll be managing excellence. 11-1 or 12-0, watch.

Yep. I remember ToP under Coach K too.

And I remember the hemorrhaging when our offense couldn't move the ball, and we were literally getting destroyed to the point of almost handing the ball to teams near our endzone.
