Cubs versus Cards: who ya got & why

Who will score more- the combined runs for this series or the UCF offense the next two games?

Cardinals.

Because that's what STL does. The Cubs are called loveable losers for a reason.

Fun fact: this is the first time EVER for STL to meet Chicago in the playoffs. Probably because Chicago is only in the playoffs once every 20 years.

The cubs have Arrietta, who will probably give them at least two wins. It really depends on how the ball falls. Playoffs are a crapshoot. I think the Cards have the better 2 and 3 pitchers. That could be the difference. I'll go Cards because JHey is one of my favorite players. I don't like the Cards, though and I'm glad Maddon's clipboard can't be hacked.

Eff the cards!

Cubs. Because the Cardinals and their fans suck scrotums.

Gotta go with the Cubbies, just based on family fandom.

My dad still has a 1984 NL East Champions bottle of champagne that he will not open until they win the World Series. In case you don't know 1984 was the first time the Cubs made the postseason since 1945, the went up 2-0 in NLCS over San Diego and lost the series 3-2. My dad has been a lifelong fan so gotta hope they win it once in his lifetime. 2003 was the last time he even pulled it out, but we all know how that went.
