Will that be enough for an at-large bid? I don't think so.

Who knows??? But the key is to continue to improve...and if that means improving and falling short in the CUSA Tourn in Memphis...but get a chance to host a NIT game...then take it.

UCF won just 6 conf games last year and without 3 scholarship players now (Newell & Reed sitting out for their transfer year) plus McCombs being ineligible right now...it will be a positive for UCF if they can play in a post-season tourn.

Since the new CUSA was formed back in 2005...Memphis is UNDEFEATED in CUSA Tourn Games played at the FedEx Forum...so it will be hard to upset them for the automatic bid...and even Southern Miss isn't getting much national pub in the rankings (believe they were #35 last week) so it might be difficult for any CUSA team to get a NCAA at-large bid this or any season.
