They did a minor edit to the voice over intro, calling it the "UCF Football Show."

Marc mentions that Barrett played at Cincinnati.

"I'm looking forward to the opportunity to go back to my old stomping grounds."

His last game was in 1982.

"My last game was a win against Miami of Ohio in 1982. I did finish up and get my degree in 1988."

What's his responsibility now as interim coach?

"First and foremost, just to keep the players at ease about everything. You have 18, 19 year old young men. they've never been through this. What's the next step for them? We're obligated to win football games and also academically get our degree. That was our message. Business as usual. You never hope something like this happens, but that's part of the job. We need to move forward."

Message to the staff?

"This isn't a position any one wants to be in, including myself. The only reason I decided to accept was I had a good chat with Coach O'Leary. That I would be the guy that could help the staff and these players to win some games. I talked to the staff. No one wants to get in a position the way it came about. At the same time, we're professionals. We have to take these young men on the road to Cincinnati and try to win a football game."

Marc asks about his background, talking about his time in the CFL, etc.

"I played 13 years up there. I spent a total of 24 years of my life up there. Met my life, all five of my kids were born in Canada. It's a big part of who I am."

He was a HC and GM at Saskatchewan.

"You can go from playing one day to coaching the next day. I started coaching in 1997, working with Jeff Garcia. They asked me if I wanted to coach right away. The next year, I was coming off a knee injury, I felt like I wanted to play again so I was a player-coach in 1998. What ended that is I got hurt stretching in warm-ups, I blew a calf muscle. That's when I knew my playing days were over."

He was on the staff at Buffalo and BCU before he got to UCF.

"Turner Gill went to Kansas, he decided to go in a different direction with his staff. So me and eight other assistants were without jobs. Our contracts were extended until July. I was looking for a job. There were places I didn't want to move my family to. Buffalo was good for us. I was at home, really became an assistant teacher at home, homework, things like that. I was really in the way to be honest. My wife said you need to get out of here . What I do is coach.

"I went on the road, started visiting places where I knew other coaches. It just so happened that Coach Taaffe and Coach Kelly were here, I wanted to visit and talk some ball. I met Coach O'Leary. He said you're doing the right things, I don't have anything available, but stay in touch. A year later, he gave me a call because Godsey went to the Patriots. That's what led me here and I'm thankful for the opportunity he gave me."
