Recall in Hoosier how Gene Hackman ordered his short-handed squad to "pass the ball four times before shooting" and benches a player even though it means he's playing with only 4 guys. "My team's on the floor!" he tells the ref. "Five players on the floor functioning as one single unit: team, team, team - no one more important that the other."

Dawkins needs to tell BJ that three of his teammates must score before he is allowed to take a shot in each half, and if a teammate misses a shot, it is always at least partly his fault! Right now, if his teammates miss early, he switches back to shooting guard mentality and we've lost -- no matter how many he himself scores.
