Dem and Reps agree that Warren does have Cherokee ancestry. Repubs say her skin isn't brown enough.

Another Warren fraud moment

“And this Carlos D. Bustamante isn’t actually a geneticist, at least according to his Stanford bio. He’s a biologist and a statistician. He doesn’t appear to do DNA testing, but rather analyzes test resultsand applies them to anthropological questions. On top of that, what sort of test results is he providing? Warren’s chosen doctor should answer the question of what it means to say the evidence “strongly supports the existence” of a Native American ancestor, only narrowing it down to a span of four or more generations dating back to colonial times.”

“As to this DNA test, let’s just say that there are enough red flags popping up to form a new country. To begin with, why would anyone go to all the bother of seeking out a specialist from Stanford? Why wouldn’t you just go with Ancestry or 23 & Me like everyone else and use standardized testing? (I’m just going to toss it out there that the possibility exists that Warren actually did one of those tests and it came up dry. She’s refused to answer the question before when reporters have asked if she did one.)”

“Warren provided a sample of her DNA to a private lab in Georgia in August, according to one of the senator’s aides. The data from that test was sent to Bustamante and his team for analysis. Warren received the report last week.

Warren didn’t use a commercial service, but Bustamante is on the scientific advisory board for Ancestry, which provides commercial DNA tests. He’s also consulted on a project for 23andMe, another major DNA testing company.”

“Bustamante is considered one of the leading DNA analysts in the world. When several DNA experts were asked by the Globe, earlier this year, how they’d recommend Warren go about taking a DNA test, his name came up repeatedly.”

Can I get just a simple DNA test like the rest of us use please? I've done it and it's incredibly detailed; it also doesn't "suggest" where your ancestors come from, it nails it down pretty damn tight.

The fact that she sought out this non-geneticist from Stanford just smells of elitism which is spot-on for Elizabeth Warren. A white wealthy woman who grew up in riches and yet still threw around being a Native American for more platitudes and money at Harvard.

Lefties scream "cultural appropriation!" at a white person putting a piece of sushi in their mouth yet think Liz Warren is just the tops.

I know when I'm speaking of my family and our culture, I frequently reference people who may or may not have lived 10 generations ago with a 1/1,024 probability.

At least this all served as good enough for her to use a minority status to gain tenure at Harvard.

“Warren later acknowledged that Harvard had singled her out as a Native American professor because she identified herself as a minority in an Association of American Law Schools directory from 1986-1994. She stopped listing herself as such when she gained tenure at Harvard.”

Just so anyone doesn't get confused by 85s consistant misleading posts.

The genetics confirmed she could be anywhere from 1/32 to 1/1024. Her claims of native American ancestry from her past fall in that range.

Basically, she backed up what her claims were. She never said she was 50% or 100% Native American. Very few people are pure Native American anymore several chiefs of tribes have ansestry that fall into the same range as Warren.

Trump owes a charity of her choice $1,000,000

Literally all @UCFKnight85 does is lie on here.

Whenever anyone points out the truth, he goes completely unhinged and personally attacks them, up to and including death threats. Please repost for him to see.

Here's from the NYT in 2014 following a genome study:

The researchers found that European-Americans had genomes that were on average 98.6 percent European, .19 percent African, and .18 Native American.

At the 1/525 mark, Warren would have SLIGHTLY more Native American in her than the average white person in America already has today. At the 1/1,024 mark, she'd actually have LESS Native American in her - than the average white person.

Can you Woke folks please tell me: when do we start yelling and screaming about Cultural Appropriation? Or, as a white man with potentially .19 African American and .18 Native American in me, can I start claiming to be both black and Native AMerican when it might suit me?

At what point am I allowed to start throwing around stories about my family recounting our Native American history? Warren did it with POTENTIALLY less Native American in her than the average white person in America.

If once ancestor that maybe lived 300 years ago is game-on for claiming minority status on job applications, we're all good to go with this too, right/?

I'm just glad you've willing to concede that she is, in fact, Native American.

I thought for awhile you were going to stick with your fake DNA conspiracy theory defense. That was embarrassing for you.

Please read my post above. Being the Woke expert on the board, I need to know when I can start filing as a minority to get ahead.

Thanks.

So basically, my questions are uncomfortable and you'd rather not answer.

Does this seem honest to you, knowing that she may have less Native American ancestry that the average whites person in America?

@UCFKnight85 Remember when you were trying to say the DNA test could have been rigged because that was what hotair.com was telling you?

You must have decided that was looking pretty foolish so you're now going with the much safer but still disingenuous 1/1024 claim just a few hours later.

Remember when I asked a reasonable question relevant to this thread and you ran?

You asked a dumb question that I don't have an opinion on and don't care about.

That's fine. We'll re-raise those questions next year when you're posting every 10 seconds about how awesome Candidate Warren is. Maybe then you'll care to explain when it's cool to engage in Cultural Appropriation and when it isn't.

LOL It's hilarious watching Trump try to weasel his way out of paying his publicized million dollar bet that Warren had no Native American ancestry. What a douche bag.

It was almost as entertaining as reading the excuses of our resident Trumpsters. This place should be renamed Comedy Central.

She has as much ancestry as I do. Maybe I should go into whiny hysterics and cry that Trump should pay me too?

Then I’ll use my faux ancestry to lie about my race and use it to get ahead in life

Warren is literally the biggest lying sack of poo on the face of the Earth. Whatever gets you ahead right?

Let me get this straight:
Trump claims that Warren's native american heritage is bullsh*t and says he'll donate a million dollars to the charity of her choosing if she proves it...
Warren has a DNA test that proves she was right all along.....
Trump now says he never made the bet...
But Warren is "the biggest lying sack of poo on the face of the Earth"? Ooooooookay. [eyeroll]

If someone who was 1/32 or 1/1024 black was using the N-word, would that be a problem?
