We hired our two coaches from the Pac 12. How's that working out for letting their talent get away?
It's very early in the season and Stanford's doing fine (6-1) against mostly weak competition.
But UCF (ranked #57) barely trails Stanford (#52) in the Sagarin, and they badly trail UCF (#37) vs. (#114) in the RPI.
Meanwhile, Oregon kept their coach while allowing Frost to get away.
In the Sagarin, UCF is 63rd ranked to Oregon's 61st.
In the RPI, UCF is #67, Oregon #60.
Seems to me that despite the big gap in talent, our Pac 12 coaches holding their own!
So far, maybe Oregon should have fired their coach and Stanford retained theirs.
