Not announcing their vaccine results earlier? Conspiracy theories abound on both sides. The only one I can come up with that kind of makes sense is that they didn't want to be seen as being political and that their announcement might have affected the election. I could see how they wouldn't want the political backlash.

Pfizer didn’t want Trump to get credit for it.

They made this statement to the NYT: "We were never part of the Warp Speed. We have never taken any money from the U.S. government, or from anyone," Kathrin Jansen, the head of vaccine research and development at Pfizer, told The New York Times.”

The problem is that this is a total lie. From HHS.gov:
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the Department of Defense (DoD) today announced an agreement with U.S.-based Pfizer Inc. for large-scale production and nationwide delivery of 100 million doses of a COVID-19 vaccine in the United States following the vaccine’s successful manufacture and approval. The agreement also allows the U.S. government to acquire an additional 500 million doses.

The federal government will own the 100 million doses of vaccine initially produced as a result of this agreement, and Pfizer will deliver the doses in the United States if the product receives Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) or licensure from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), as outlined in FDA guidance, after completing demonstration of safety and efficacy in a large Phase 3 clinical trial.

By entering into this agreement now, a safe and effective vaccine can be shipped quickly if FDA grants EUA or licensure. This approach helps meet the U.S. government’s Operation Warp Speed goal to begin delivering 300 million of doses of safe and effective vaccine to the American people by the end of the year.

“Through Operation Warp Speed, we are assembling a portfolio of vaccines to increase the odds that the American people will have at least one safe, effective vaccine as soon as the end of this year,” said HHS Secretary Alex Azar. “Depending on success in clinical trials, today’s agreement will enable the delivery of approximately 100 million doses of vaccine being developed by Pfizer and BioNTech.”

By waiting until the election was over the focus is on their results and not people wondering if Trump influenced the announcement. This is better for their stock price.

2 Doses must be taken 3 weeks apart. It's not just one dose. By Christmas 1st doses should be ready If you have a rare blood Disease it may put u in bed for 24 hours plus. Also fevers and headaches a few had. No deaths reported.

The CEO says he learned of the results on Sunday. We've been told for months that November is when this kind of news would start breaking.

In an interview with CNN Chief Medical Correspondent Sanjay Gupta, Bourla said he first learned about the results of the trial Sunday and he has yet to see the data, throwing cold water on the idea that there was any political motivation behind releasing the news after voters in the United States chose their candidate for president.

That timing 6 days after the election is suspicious. Never mind that Trump would get mocked for saying it would be ready.
Two things: First, if you followed Pfizer's timeline, there's no way they could have made this announcement prior to the election. Second, Pfizer has not received ANY government support so how their announcement could have been construed as an 'Attaboy Trump' boost is hard to fathom. But then again, we're talking about the same chuds who are "waiting for the rampant voter fraud discoveries" that will keep Orange Man in the White House.

Yup just a Coincidence it was 6 days later.
Funny, your guy Trump has been touting that a whole bunch of drug companies have been working non-stop on a vaccine all year. He's been steadfast in proclaiming that one will be coming 'any day now.'

Yet when one does get announced, it's suddenly suspicious because it came AFTER the election. I'm guessing if it had been announced a week earlier, you'd have proclaimed it was a freaking miracle.

Moderna now comes out with their Phase 3 results that suggest 94.5% efficacy. That’s 2 in record time. Biden is truly a miracle worker.
