Xavier Gaines? He's from Frostproof, Fl. How the hell could our coach recruit that place? It is immune from Thor and his recruiting prowess.

Last year VT ended up getting 4-star dual-threat QB Dwayne Lawson (Tampa Hillsborough). Now, there have been rumors, not sure if they're true or not that Lawson has been a little homesick (Has a kid and a baby momma back at home) and may look to transfer to an in-state school. Lawson will be in a heated QB battle with returning starter Brenden Motley and now Jerod Evans for the starting QB spot this coming spring may tempt Lawson, even more, to think about possibly transferring. Now, it just so happens that my brother, who's a walk-on at FL St is planning on transferring to UCF; played on the same HS team at Hillsborough with Lawson and are quite close......that's all I'm gonna say about that...

And what's even more ridiculous is that my brother was a UF fan growing up lol so we have always been on opposing sides when it comes to CFB.

How was that far-fetched that he wouldn't flip to Miami? I'd say the big reason he didn't consider us at the end was because of the immediate playing time he'd receive at UF and UGA where if he went to UM he'd have to sit behind Kaaya for a year or 2
think some were just overvaluing the Richt relationship and Eason loved the SEC town environment, that's why he didn't want to play in the Pac12 closer to home
