Domenic Spencer has played a backup role his first three seasons in Orlando, but now the Dallas native is looking to succeed Terrance Plummer as UCF's No. 1 middle linebacker.
There are plenty of big shoes to fill on defense not just at linebacker, but also within the secondary where UCF is losing all four starters. Even so, Spencer is confident their reputation as one of nation's top defenses will continue.
