Double Blessing

I'm surprised that there hasn't been more discussion on this but the announcement of the expanded 12 team college playoffs is a double blessing for our program.

CFP eyes '24 for 12 teams; 'devil's in the details'

Though the College Football Playoff has been approved to start in 2026, the CFP management committee has begun talks about moving up that timeline, possibly to 2024. Said Big Ten commissioner Kevin Warren: "We have a lot to get done."

1st - we get into Big 12.

2nd - with a conference championship in Big 12 we will get into the playoffs.
With a one loss season we have a big chance of making it as well.

I'm just glad to see the SEC releasing their 2023 schedule and NOT seeing Texas and OK included.

Hopefully they stay another 2 years.

I wouldn't have happened in 23 if they go early it will be 24.

Would be easier for n the AAC, as we are always in he 6th best league every year. but I is still just an invitational so don’t care anyway
