Down goes Morgan Freeman

Here's his non-denial, non-apology, side stepping response:

“Anyone who knows me or has worked with me knows I am not someone who would intentionally offend or knowingly make anyone feel uneasy. I apologize to anyone who felt uncomfortable or disrespected — that was never my intent.”

Did he recently come out as a red-hatter or something? I'm reading those and thinking that I'd like to see the specific allegations because, while some of them are obvious, others read as tenuous allegations that could've been innocent or could not have been.

He didn't vote for him but it doesn't seem he absolutely loathes him either, maybe that's the problem.

Haha if thats the case I can't wait for 85 to do a complete 180 on his stance.

Also if thats the case and this is a false allegation this b!tch needs to burn.

May be a little extreme, but yes. If Morgan Freeman truly did touch a woman in the lower back then he should also burn, while narrating the pain.

Despite the fact that Freeman used to jab Obama for not being black enough, this doesn't smell like anything political. Just people outing another creep.

He apparently came onto a 6 month pregnant CNN correspondent and called her "ripe" and said he wants to "be in there" or something. That's just insanely disgusting.

Almost as disgusting as raw dogging a porn star while your wife is at home recovering with your infant child.

I remember all those outraged posts by you over that same scenario....

Cosby, Freeman and that type...doing what they do best beguile everyone with self serving shows of public virtue, only to have it all blow up around them as their true side eventually shines through the phony facade. Safe to say Morgan Freeman and his "God" documentaries on Discovery Channel may not be seeing too many reruns given this recent news. Then again Michael Jackson molested boys as a homosexual, and he is still a media hero.

He’s still a creep, but this is the issue with this whole #MeToo thing. There is no allowance for nuance or context. Someone saying something innapropriate is thrown into the same sentence as someone like Weinstein or Clinton who raped women.

Would like to see the unedited video to see the before and after context. I thought this comment was going to be a much different situation than it looked in the video.

Are we, as a culture, really going down the path of vilifying men for looking at a woman to assess attractiveness? Much less expressing that we think a woman is beautiful? Are we going to make monsters out of men who are awkward in their non-predatory advances? Is that where this pendulum swing ends?

Matt Damon tried to make that comparison in an interview once, got beat down by the feminists, and had to apologize on the air .... even though he was right and they were wrong. Haha ... gotta love it.

Some of what people claim Freeman did sounded like he immediately felt remorse when someone pointed it out, and he hadn't touched anyone.
But some of the other claims are beyond that, including touching and forcing himself upon women.

That's the problem I have these days ... some of the alleged actions of Trump were pretty much,"That's it?"
While some of the other actions of Trump are as bad, or even worse, than Bill Clinton was accused of -- total rape class.

People need to pick their battles and stop misconstruing everything as 'rape' or 'physical touching.' E.g., It's why Anita Broadwick's name (among a few others) got assumed to be 'just an affair,' when it was about rape.
