Talked to him on the ride back home and the connection was really, really bad. He said more but couldn't decipher it all, connection going in and out and muffled. Also posted on front page at this link here.

UCF got a lot faster this weekend.

On Saturday, Daytona Beach (Fla.) Mainland speedster Adrian Killins jumped on board the Frost train. 24 hours later, Dr. Phillips standout Jaquarius Bargnare did the same.

Bargnare, who was offered by UCF in September, received one of Frost's first recruiting calls last Thursday. The offer not only still stood, but Frost told "Q" he would be the perfect fit in the Oregon-style offense he's bringing to Orlando.

"He says it's perfect for what I am as player," Bargnare said. "It's a major jump from the offense they had. Frost said they'd like to get the ball in my hands and make plays. Do the things Oregon did... Things I really loved hearing. He said he'd put the ball in my hands and let me make plays. Bubble screens, little routes, basically everything I'm doing right now. 'Come to UCF and make plays,' is what he said. He thinks I'd be perfect for that."

Bargnare first thought he'd stop by UCF sometime this coming week. Earlier in the fall, UCF rose to the top of his list primarily because it was the local school. But after the Frost hire, Bargnare became excited about everything else -- the vision Frost has for the offense and how he would be utilized.

"I've been talking to Coach Frost a lot," Bargnare said. "I told him I was pretty close to committing yesterday so he said to come down today. I think it's a great fit for me. He's bringing that Oregon offense that's going to get the ball in the playmakers' hands. He said I could be anywhere on the field. Wide receiver, kick returner, punt returner, just be an all-around player."

Vanderbilt, USF, Memphis and Colorado State were among the other schools looking to schedule visits. Bargnare didn't rule out taking other trips, but doesn't see anything swaying him from his UCF commit.

"It was a great moment when I got to shake Coach Frost's hand," Bargnare said. "I'm so excited right now."

Bargnare played all over the field at Dr. Phillips. As a receiver, he had 40 receptions for 614 yards and seven touchdowns. Running the ball 32 times, he added 185 yards and four more TDs. He had one return TD as well.
