Thought maybe UCFEcon (or others familiar with Dublin) may be able to help out. I'm staying in Dublin from the Thursday before the game and flying out Sunday. The hotels I am looking at (due to limited availability) are the Best Western Skylon in the Croke Park area, Ashling Hotel over by the Guiness Brewery and Mespil Hotel in Dublin 4. Which one do you think would be the best option for ease of access to the center, etc.? I am leaning toward the Ashling because, although it doesn't look like there is much in the immediate area around the hotel, there appears to be a major transportation hub (trams, buses, etc.) right across the street. Thoughts?
