As long as they sign a long term agreement with the conference. Would be a bad look for the big 12 to take them, then they leave in 5 years
I've heard a few people say the "bad look" comment. Here's how I see it. Big 12 said they would take 3 more (Oregon, Washington, and Arizona seem most coveted). Even worse case scenario the big 10 in 2030ish comes and takes Oregon and Washington. Then the big 12 can take Utah and Arizona State which was the original plan to begin with. NO ONE thinks that any school would say no if the big 10 or SEC come calling so I just don't see the "it would look bad" part. Even worse case scenario we get the 4 corner schools and are in awesome position to scoop up 4 ACC remnants after the Big 10 and Sec rip that conference apart. As long as they sign a long term agreement with the conference. why would ACC be better GOR until 2036 at 20MIt is difficult to tell what is bs bc college football mods go crazy will realignment talk but my guess: Arizona is next and that may be it at 14 teams
Oregon-Washington still at 50-50 bc they must think Big10 or even ACC might happen so they are going to slow play Yormack and he may just move on
Awful lot of travel which definitely affects play on the field. Will be interesting to see how we handle it. I hope well.Good god the frequent flier miles are going to really rack up while being in this conference
I wish they’d just create the inevitable super leagues for football and make the rest of the athletic department separate from it.Good god the frequent flier miles are going to really rack up while being in this conference
