WOW. We have tons of excuses with injuries and youth but I truly believed if we had anything as a team we would put it out there today in probably the last winnable game of the year and a chance to turn the tide but we just SHIT THE BED at home against an awful team. One of the worst games I have watched UCF play. Every time we did something good we negated it with something stupid. One of the most surprising things for me is the play of the defense. For the first 4 games of the season our defense was solid. I am unaware of any major defensive injuries (since season started) yet it seems like they have no chance out there. Getting blown out by Tulane and UCONN. There are tons of excuses on offense with the injuries of Holman, Akins, Wilson, and about 30 others. Not sure what the hell on the defense. Cannot tackle or cover or get to the passer consistently or get off blocks or fill holes or play with passion or cause a turnover or anything. Where is Brimm & Clarke? Those are older guys that were supposed to be starters for us. Maybe I missed injuries? Guys look like they either quit or are all just NGE which is hard to believe for a program like ours. How with such success over the last 5+ years that we can be at this point is amazing. Lots of excuses but even in our worst hour you would think we would compete better than this against a shitty UCONN team that had at least 7 illegal formation penalties. We lost to a God awful UCONN team after losing to a crappy Tulane team. I am scared what that makes us. Oleary started with UCF with an 0-11 season and built us up to win the Fiesta Bowl and then potentially back to 0-11. I thought the days of complete worthlessness were over for UCF. I thought a bad year would be 4 or 5 wins and just missing a bowl in a rebuilding year with a team that still had a lot of talent but was just young, but we are likely the worst team in College football by a good margin with 20 walk ons playing. Blows my mind how we got here, even with all the injuries it is hard to wrap my head around how far we have fallen.
