Duke on schedule?????

Getting a road game isn't that difficult. I don't think we generally do the away games without a return trip.
Well, even without Dawkins, Danny White was able to get his Dad (Duke AD) and Coach K schedule a Duke Home game at Cameron Indoor Stadium with Buffalo this past season.
Hopefully with Coach Dawkins...in the years when Duke may not be playing conf road games at FSU and/or Miami, he can help land a home-home with Duke.
Challenge is Duke plays in so many huge $$$ maker neutral site national TV games...they rarely play true road games in their non-conf schedule...but the AD Father/Son and now HC relationship scenario is such a rarity...it certainly can't hurt to dream.
Am I mistaken or did duh Bulls play UK solely due to the head coaching relationship? With the coaching and AD ties, I'd think UCF could get it done if they wanted to
UK did play USF in a neutral site game/doubleheader in Miami/Lauderdale this past season.
Still hoping for a miracle home-home series with Duke...as both Danny's Dad (Duke AD Kevin White) and Coach K would know what that would mean in just UCF Basketball Season tix sales for just that 1 season...let a lone the change to keep some of those new season tix holders for seasons to come.
Its more than "just a game"...its something that could mean a huge new revenue flow to a program that badly needs it.
Why? We suck and would just get destroyed. We already pay now to watch our team get their @sses kicked by other quality programs, and not-so-quality prograns. Why add one more @ss kicking where we have about a zero percent chance of winning? I'd rather see us get a home-and-home with a quality program from the A-10 or Big East. At least for those we have a shot at winning the game (as long as you don't try and play Nova).
This isn't football where a quality home opponent could sway some people to buy season tickets. That won't happen for basketball because football is about more than just the game. The tailgate is also part of the deal where in basketball you generally just show up for the game. One game is not a sell...your overall team is.

Some hoop series are scheduled a few years in advanced so oods are, it wouldn't start this Nov/Dec.
Almost every Duke non conf game is on National TV and it would be amazing exposure for UCF if they were ever able to host Duke.

This year they played all 13 games before conference play at home or at neutral site. The year before they played one OOC game at Wisconsin. It's about being realistic. This is a pipe dream.
Well...I'm a St Johns fan and we played Duke a lot even when we weren't that good. Now UCF has some Duke ties and the players want to go to Disney.
Duke and Ducks fall double header. Who says we have to play all our out of conference games in September. That was a GOL rule.
It would be nice to get a home-and-home with Duke in football. I doubt Oregon would go for it but they have played home-and-homes in the last 10 yrs with other non-superpower programs such as: boise state, wyoming, tennesse and virginia, so you never know. That would be a sweet road trip.
Maybe we could hook something up with oregon state? We should have an "in" with the AD.
