ORLANDO, FL- As things stand on with just under two weeks before recruits and transfers begin to arrive at UCF, I’ve decided to take a look at the scholarship

Interesting omissions from the list of scholarship players are:
1. Dyllon Lester, 2. Keenan Hester, 3. Quadric Bullard, 4. William Wells. I never saw any announcement of any of these departing from the team or going to the portal. Of course,. Lester and Hester did redshirt in '22 but I thought those were due to injury.

Most of those in the transfer portal now that do get picked up will enroll in Jan.

The transfer window will remain open till Jan 18th...even though enrollment deadlines for many schools will be prior to that. (UCF's "normal" deadline for late enrollment is Jan 13th).

DL signees and depth is pretty dang solid.

Celiscar coming back for his final year plus others coming back...then add in the the best HS DL recruiting class in UCF history:

DT: John Walker 4 star (5.8)
DE/DT: Andrew Rump 3 star (5.7)
DE: Kaven Call 4 star (5.8)
DE: Isaiah Nixon 4 star (5.9)

Yes...LB is a concern...maybe losing the Twins and now the cow u transfer to Arkansas...yes, that is a concern but DL has never looked better (on paper).

PS. UCF needed WR depth because odds are...both Baker and Hudson will be gone after 2023 season so UCF had to bring in guys right now to build up some experienced depth.

I think all of them will be on scholarship. Hopefully Bullard, Lester and Hester will be healed up and ready to play. I think he missed Wells. We'll see who plays in the Bowl game since this is a good indicator of who the coaches will be counting on to show in the spring.
