Plane flew through Eritrea a few hours before the crash. If its a bomb, you figure that is where it was planted. With Bojinka, they planted the bomb in the Philippines while they staged a mock assassination attempt of the Pope and security was distracted. The bomb was inside a children's toy left in the seat pocket in front of a poor guy who got on the plane in Japan later. It went off and cut him in half, but the plane didnt go down as planned.

I guess it would be too much to make airlines disclose the location of the airplane over the previous 24 hours. I don't know about you, but I fly a lot overseas, including going to Egypt in a month. If the plane has been flying around Somalia or the Sudan, I might like to wait for the next one.
