ESPN+ and Gasparilla Bowl

I'm going to the game, so it won't affect me, but I'm just wondering this - when I go to ESPN+ it shows UCF vs. Florida as an upcoming event, but I'm hearing people say that since it's on ESPN, ESPN+ won't show it. I'm confused since it shows it as an upcoming event. I have YouTube TV so if I log into the ESPN App, I can watch anything on ESPN, but maybe if they don't reach a deal with Disney today, I won't have that option.

I guess I can test it out tomorrow if a deal isn't reached.

Here's what I found on a basic test. I tried to watch on the ESPN APP the UCF Temple game televised on ESPN2. It asked me for my cable provider before, I could watch on ESPN2. I had to select YouTube TV as my provider. Seems like a dead end if YouTube TV is nolonger a provider.

Yeah no you need a subscriber. Just saw the op say that if something was on espn it wouldnt be on espn+

Lmao I'm still confused. I literally only have TYtv and ESPN+ (actually canceled a few days ago smh). Sounds like the jury is still out?

I have ESPN+ and just went on the ESPN app and am able to watch the shows that are on ESPN and espn2 right now.

I'm no expert on this, but at some point you have to register your cable provider. Once you do that it doesn't ask for it again, it just let's you in. I guess we are have our answers tomorrow.
