Ever quit a professional job with no notice and no job lined up?

Job stress and hours are building up due to covid and thinking about calling it quits. Have enough in savings to manage.

Consider that the economy obviously isnt great, and who knows where it's going to go over the next few months. You might not want to find yourself in a position where you are looking for a new job in a struggling economy.

Job related depression is tough under any circumstances, but particularly during covid.

It may sound contradictory but during times like this, the best short-term solution is to count your many blessings.

I'm an essential worker and It was essential of me to take a 25% pay cut to keep my job during Covid, While working more hours. It Sucks. I'm pissed, burnt out and just overall unhappy.

That being said, Im blessed to have a job and thankful. It's a double edged sword. Can't leave though.

I’ve quit a job with no job lined up. I did give notice though and had enough in savings to cover for a while. I would be concerned in this market if you need another job soon.
