This is hilarious.
For the past three decades, each member of Congress has been receiving copies of Hustler, a monthly porn magazine, compliments of porn mogul and publisher Larry Flynt.
The nudie magazines, which contain a variety of nude images, news, political satire and investigative articles, started pouring into the mailrooms for all 535 members of Congress on Sept. 4, 1983, tucked into plain manila envelopes.
Flynt thought Congress “should be well informed on all social issues and trends,”
The special delivery irked about 260 members of Congress, who complained to the Postal Service, but a U.S. District Court, District of Columbia, judge ruled in 1986 that the deliveries of Hustler will not stop and is protected under the First Amendment..
“Receiving Hustler once each month would not unduly burden a Member of Congress,” District Judge John H. Pratt, wrote. “We cannot imagine that Congressional offices all lack wastebaskets.”
Each office has its own protocal for dealing with the array of bare-skinned women, but most of them end up in the garbage or shipped overseas to troops in Iraq...
LOL. Just another fringe benefit for Congress that the rest of the country isn't able to receive. *
