Craig Unger got a former KGB spy to confirm on the record that Russian intelligence had been working Trump for decades. In his new book, “American Kompromat,” Unger interviewed Yuri Shvets, who told him that the KGB manipulated Trump with simple flattery. “In terms of his personality, the guy is not a complicated cookie,” he said, “his most important characteristics being low intellect coupled with hyperinflated vanity. This makes him a dream for an experienced recruiter.”
he confesses in the book that he has no evidence to back it up. the reviews are hilarious.
I despise Trump with the heat of a thousand suns and I would love to see some evidence based proof of Trump being compromised by Putin that would burn Trump to a cinder but I didn't find it in this book. No piece of investigative journalism should ever come with words like; "could have" "might have" etc., etc. or phrases like "although no evidence has been found" or wondering about what was said and then creating a plausible scenario about what might have been taken place. Many of the stories feel like an effort to pad the book, some interesting and others just a waste of ink. Multiple chapters about Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffery Epstein's sexual crimes hint at video tapes of very many famous men but they never deliver who or what any of them actually did or even if the tapes actually exist. Here's hoping that if Maxwell is ever brought to trial we will finally know the truth but as far as this book goes; I thought it was a dud..
he also claims that Trump deliberately created Covid-19 in the USA and "wanted as many people to die as possible" like he's a disney villain lmao
